How Playse Cares Is Structured

Playse Cares operates as a fiscally administered scholarship fund of Miami Beach Youth Sports Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) public charity based in the United States.

As a sponsored fund, Playse Cares is not a standalone nonprofit organization. All donations are made directly to Miami Beach Youth Sports Foundation and are managed in accordance with nonprofit governance standards and IRS regulations.

Legal & Fiduciary Oversight

Miami Beach Youth Sports Foundation retains full legal and fiduciary responsibility for all funds associated with Playse Cares.

This includes:

• Receiving and holding all charitable contributions
• Maintaining financial records and reporting
• Reviewing and approving scholarship awards
• Ensuring compliance with applicable nonprofit laws and IRS requirements

All expenditures are made at the discretion of the Foundation and must align with its charitable mission and regulatory obligations.

Scholarship Review & Approval

Scholarship awards are reviewed independently and evaluated based on:

• Demonstrated financial need
• Program alignment
• Available funding
• Compliance with nonprofit guidelines

Donors and advisors may support the fund and provide recommendations; however, all final funding decisions remain under the authority of Miami Beach Youth Sports Foundation to ensure regulatory compliance and prevent private benefit.
