Coach & Leadership Scholarships
Coaches who lead with purpose
Investing in the adults and mentors who shape the next generation by providing funding for:
• Coaching education and certification programs
• Leadership development workshops
• International training experiences
• Professional development in youth sport and mentorship
By supporting coaches, we strengthen entire communities and multiply long-term impact.

Eligibility Guidelines
To be considered during the current funding cycle, applicants must:
• Have been formally selected to participate in an elite international tournament aligned with the mission of the Scholarship Fund
• Demonstrate documented financial need
• Be participating through a recognized and verifiable sports organization
• Submit complete and accurate application information
Applications for programs outside the current funding focus are not eligible for review at this time.
Recreational leagues, camps, informal travel, or self-organized events are not eligible during this funding cycle.
How the Process Works

Submit the online application during an active funding cycle.

Upload all required official documentation, including a formal tournament invitation and itemized invoice from the event organizer.

Applications are reviewed by Miami Beach Youth Sports Foundation for eligibility, documentation completeness, and funding alignment.

Applicants are notified of award decisions via email.
Applications that do not align with the current funding focus or lack required documentation will not be reviewed.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis during open enrollment periods and are subject to fund availability.

Playse Cares operates as a scholarship initiative of Miami Beach Youth Sports Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
All scholarship awards:
• Are partial and discretionary
• Are not guaranteed
• Must align with nonprofit governance and IRS guidelines
• Are subject to available funding
• May be paid directly to the program provider, tournament organizer, or verified institution
Incomplete, misaligned, or undocumented applications may not be reviewed.
Miami Beach Youth Sports Foundation reserves the right to modify funding priorities, establish award caps, or close application acceptance at any time.
